Selborne Bowling Club

The Selborne Bowling Club is a members only facility which is steeped in history, and is now under the control of the Ye Olde Cherry Tree.

Right behind the pub, you will find the club hidden away, and during open hours, you will typically find our elders having a relaxed game of bowls.

It is a beautiful little place, tranquil and green, and the club building is large and really relaxed. I myself am not a member, and to be honest, I actually hadn't heard of it until one of my closest friends started dating a girl who's father happened to be one of the captains of the teams and Selbourne. So he invited us along for a drink and to watch the game.

As for bowls itself, it isn't exactly to most tiresome and exhilarating of games, but a very nice way to spend the occasional sunny afternoon. So if you fancy giving the game a pop, I couldn't suggest a better place to have your first go.
