Is the bowling alley open post covid?

      A:

They are open. They say they try to space groups apart as far as possIble, so there won't be people right next to you.

To my pleasure, my fiancé and I were surprised at how crowded it was here on a weekend night! I thought bowling was a dying sport but glad to be proven wrong. Being part of a plaza with other businesses, the parking lot can get quite full during peak times. We came later in the evening around 9-10pm and there was 3 groups ahead of us on the wait list.
Luckily there are 10+ lanes here so one opened up fairly quick after we grabbed some drinks and waited at a table for a moment. Decent selection of different weight and finger size bowling balls. Seems like the shoes they rent out are quite old and uncomfortable, but that's how most rentals tend to be. I enjoyed the variety of scoreboard displays, compared to other places that don't have anything special.

In my opinion, I consider under $10 per game average or on the cheaper end. Some of the newer built places are much more expensive.

      Updated review

      Update:
The prices of snacks have gone up. The quality has gone down. This is the worst batch of fries i've evr gotten here. $1.00 price increase and the basket is not even filled half way. Fries were also soggy and slightly burned.

This was my family's first time coming to this bowling alley. My initial thought was it was like any other bowling alley which was perfect for staying inside on this rainy day with my kids and husband.

While I had fun with my family, I wasn't particularly thrilled that you could only either get a lane with bumpers or without. I have been to many that you can program it to go up during some players and go down with others.

The next reason for the three stars is because right when we got there my family asked if we could order a pizza, but was told it would take more than 2+ hours.

Also, the front desk seems overwhelming with just about 1 man running everything. When we were next in line and ready to pay for games and shoe rentals the phone rang about three different times and was told to hold one sec so that he could answer the phone. The man was super nice but I definitely think he needs another person for phone because checking in and getting lanes took very long as we were told to hold one sec multiple times while we stood there watching him on the phone (poor guy).

We love Earl Anthony's. It's clean, modern, and Mike behind the counter is the best! They get pretty busy, but it's great to see a local business doing well. They recently redid the bumpers and gutters and it looks like the floors and chairs are next. The scoring system is up-to-date and can be linked to your phone. Other local bowling alleys have computers that are older than the majority of the employees. Earl Anthony's is the best, but don't go when I'm there because I hate waiting for a lane

Full of fun and well managed. I visited late Friday night and they only had one lane open. Music was pumping and the atmosphere was upbeat. I was approached by many happy people and I had a great time with my date. I lost my game but still enjoyed myself.
Drinks and beer were reasonably priced and just strong enough. The staff kept the facility clean and diffused issues with loud Patrons. I'll go back ...after I practice a little more

Thank you Noah ( our party's host ) and Mike for a wonderful birthday party of my son and his friends. They enjoyed so much and of course my boy enjoyed it to the fullest.

I made a reservation for his birthday around 6weeks before. After I made a reservation, they sponsored his school and most of the student fundraisers got the free bowing game voucher. So I got kind of worries and thought that they won't be so excited in the party.

Actually it wasn't true. They all enjoyed it so much and Noah was exceptional.
He is very attentive and served the kids perfectly.

Thanks again Noah for your excellent service.

We will come back for more games.

Came here for a birthday celebration over the weekend. Got there a bit earlier and went to the bar to get a snack and a couple drinks. Eddy is one of the best bartenders I've come across. Very attentive and friendly. Which pretty much the three stars are for his customer service alone. I wish I could give 5 stars but I have to rate my whole experience.
One star taken for food and one star taken for inconveniences we came across.
The food quality seemed poor. The only thing decent eating was the mozzarella sticks. Other than that, the super nachos was just drenched with salsa and stuff. Just a mess to eat. Especially when brought over to us with no utensils. The chicken wings were okay. The pizzas were dry and tasted like cardboard.
Now I get there's lots of birthday parties and what not. But it would help to inform parties of bowling etiquette. It's hard to bowl when kids are just not staying in their lane which uses up more of our bowling time. Even a couple next to us asked to switch to the other lanes on the other side of us because of another party not letting them have a chance to bowl.
Maybe it was just a busy crazy off night. As much as nostalgic places like a bowling alley are pretty cool. I'm more so into bowlero or round 1. I mean I have better experiences at cloverleaf or even classic bowl at that.

Save yourself the pain, do not step into this pro shop. An exceptionally frustrating, unhelpful, careless pro shop to work with. Obstructionists from the start. Bought a used ball from them without any helpful support (should've walked out!). Very poor assistance/advice.
      Ball split after one use.
Shop helper unwilling to return the ball ("I'm not sure what our policy is....") until I strong armed him to call his boss.

Bought another used ball. (We are beginners) and have now discovered, after 8 months struggling to bowl with it and doing poorly, it was drilled heinously improperly.

Holes are way too far apart, holes are so small, my husband can only put finger tips in, and they were drilled by someone with zero knowledge who aimed them straight into center, without an angle.

New pro shop manager at a different alley was blown away and "very disappointed " by the incompetence at Earl Anthony.

Overall their customer service should have zero stars. They only serve reluctantly.

The attitude was: "oh, you want to buy a used ball? We are not interested in you or your business ." I wish they said that outloud and saved us months of struggle and frustration.

Appalling service, no guidance, inexperienced driller, and we had to make 8 trips to their shop before we had a (wrongly) drilled ball.

Go to Granada. Excellent in service, knowledge, options, --and care.

Staff here is very polite and professional. Even when the facility gets busy with a lot of people, the staff do their best and always with a smile. Love coming to bowl here whenever there's free time and this place gives a positive family vibe rather than the big corporate type businesses.
