Dorchester County Family YMCA

I was out and about trying to complete my last-minute Christmas shopping. I had two stops in Cambridge. The car wash and gas station. I heard that there was a YMCA in Cambridge. I had never been there but I decided to give it a try.

I must say this facility is older, but the staff and equipment are working at 89% and that is saying a lot. The woman at the front desk was kind and courteous and the staff were working hard cleaning and making sure that this facility was top-notch. They have learned to work with what they have. I went to the cardio room for some time on the treadmill and the weight room for lifting. I wanted to jump in the pool for some laps but just got back from vacation, and my swimming trunks we're still in the washer at home. The pool looked clean and it was a great laid-back feel like you come to expect on the eastern shore. If I am in the area again I will go back for a swim.
