Leo aka Cozi has a lot of heart and work ethic. Be ready to train, ask questions and let go of your inhibitions.He'll push you to your personal limit. He'll give you honest and straightforward answers. He'll lead you down the right path towards becoming a stronger capoeirista. But also best believe he's not going to hold your hand.

There are too many aspects within capoeira to sum up what it means to train. Music, dance, martial arts, philosophy, community, culture, the list could go on. Bottom line, you will end up more confident, in better shape and part of a family.

Cordão De Ouro Los Angeles is one of the best places to practice Capoeira in the Los Angeles Area. Cozinheiro under Contra Mestre Xara has been teaching for many years and is very patient and knowledgeable. There is emphasis on both the music and physical aspect of Capoeira. The students are all friendly and helpful. This school is highly recommended!
