Bowl America Southwest

I met some friends here as it was a half way point between our locations. It was just like the Bowlaro we have near our home, owned by the same company. We had fun but it was a little dirtier than I would like.

I am giving this location three stars. The good: very nice lady at the front counter who set us up with shoes, our lane, and a ramp for our five year old first year bowler. The not so good: the concession worker was really grumpy and kind of barked at us throughout our whole interaction.

This place is your typical, stuck in time bowling alley. What I didnt expect was the total price when we left: 9 games (3 people times 3 games) and shoe rental came out to $73 and some change. I almost fell over. I guess it has been a super long time since I've been bowling but yowza. We definitely didn't have a $73 experience.

Horrible customer service from the staff and managers I wouldn't recommend bowling there

Every single night they have all you can bowl not expect to bowl. The leagues take up the bowling alley every night every day of the week. Please change the all you can bowl or stop filling the entire place with a league every single night.

Came into Bowl America with my family on Saturday.. Great place for bowling; affordable. This place doesn't have all the fancy big screen TV's but has exactly what you came in for: bowling.
With that being said, I witnessed the manager that night disrespect his employees (in front of customers), and certainly lacks basic customer service etiquette.. so while the bowling was great, management was rather distasteful.

It's your typical bowling alley. They have over 30 lanes and a lot of great specials. We enjoyed an afternoon of bowling and weren't bothered by any of the other people bowling around us. It is a family friendly atmosphere. The only thing that wasn't a five star for me was the prices seemed a little high to me. I will be back, but during one of their specials.

Bowl America Southwest has the charm of an older bolwing alley. They recently added some new TVs and carpet, but it still has the feel of a throw back bowling center. Food prices are high, but if you stick to the combos you will be OK. There aren't many healty options, but they have beer!

Great price and time we went was not busy at all. However, Lee who worked there could not possibly have been ruder. He spoke rudely to me and my husband and when we had issues with the lane, he practically yelled at us. Even my son who is under 10 said "if that man doesn't like people he should not work around them"
I would probably return because we had a great family day there. However, I would make sure there was someone different working first.

Worse Service EVER went their for an afterpass of an funeral and had the WORSE experience, mind you i usually go to uptown alley BUT it was an 3 Hour wait time, AND i called before.. My family had bought 3 lanes and spent over 200 ALSO had an party of 14 so we brung money in never the less. Everything was all fine until ONE particular person an Caucasian worker got out of line & disrespected not only 1 customer but an handful of customers and was VERY unprofessional especially when we we into the ball room to pick our bowling balls..the Lanes are greasy inside the gutter, and outside there was im guessing wax or grease, or something to that nature on the floor and my family member slipped and fell her feet came from under her... 0/10 0/5 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Staff is very disrespectful & also what happen to the customer is always right? This establishment is very unprofessional and their workers are not very good with the public.

Ppl are very nice. Old fashion bowling you don't see to often. Family time is what's lacking in this world.
