American Hapkido's Lil Dragons

I really can't say enough about how amazing the whole staff is! Not only are they teaching Hapkido but they are teaching respect and personal responsibility! It that was all they would be awesome but they continue to blow my mind by going the extra mile to help with my kids development! After school care is a no brainer for kids and the martial arts classes are top notch!!

I am a teacher and my neice and nephew attend this family-run studio (Master Anderson, Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Anderson). I have been VERY impressed since they started here last year.

In addition to physical training, they have a comprehensive program, including character education, time managment and organizational skills, all necessary for current and future academic, financial, and personal success.

The teachers are highly supportive AND have high expectations for the children. Their recipe for nurturing the whole child has resulted in my neice and nephew being more compassionate towards others, well-behaved at school, more concentrated learners, and they LOVE to play and exercise.

Just the other day, my nephew's preschool teacher told his mother that when he chooses his own reward for good behavior, it's reading a book.

Mr. Anderson is an awsome role model for my 5 and 7 year old. I can't believe in such a short period of time the changes of listening and respect in my children.

Mr. Anderson not only guides our children to grow but gives the parents the support and tools to use through parenting! I knew from the first time I met him that we needed to be part of the Li'l Dragons Family. The encouragement that the instructors show, they also teach to all the children to encourage one another!

I highly recommend American Hapkido in Moorpark, CA for your children/family. Not only is it structure and discipline, its FUN too!! My children look forward to going back each week!

Mr. Don Anderson is the most !!Awesome!! instructor here and he is so good with the children! All the kids love him and he is even good with the more difficult kids. If you have pre-schoolers ( this program is for 3-6 year olds) this is a great extra care program that will help teach them self-discipline and interaction with other kids. I watched a couple sessions when I was baby-sitting for my friend and I was blown away! He is funny and nice and I couldn't believe how much the little tykes respected and obeyed him. You can tell they really like him. He even got one little girl that was crying to turn it into a giggle. I don't have any kids yet but they'll be coming here when I do because he seems to be such a great influence on them.

Awesome staff!!! My son is always pumped up about going to class, love how the instructors work with the children and are very good with their approach and discipline. My son has a hard time staying focused and they are awesome with him and have always been really great in working with him.

I recommend American Hapkido for anyone looking to get their youngster in a martial arts program. Mr. Anderson is kind, patient, funny, and always encouraging. He recognizes the individuality of each child, and works to build on their strengths within their personality and ability. He has high expectations, but they are clearly defined, and he is respectful of all. I am looking forward to watching my son get his black belt and the special ceremony they have. But most of all, I appreciate the difference these classes have made in his confidence, control, and demeanor.
