CúChulainn Archers break Irish records

Four members of the club competed in the World Record Status WA18 in Lisburn Archery Club. There, Darryl Wilson came away with the gold medal and a new Northern Ireland Senior Compound Record for the Double FITA 18 competition. Paul McClelland got the gold in the men's Masters Compound category.

JoAnn Bell took the gold in the women's Masters Compound category and Peter Gilmore took the bronze in the men's Masters Barebow category.

Millennium Archers held a WA 18 and two CúChulainn Archers members attended with great result. Brendan Forde took the silver medal in the senior men's Recurve and Peter Gilmore took the gold medal in the masters’ men’s Barebow.

Millennium Archers, with Wolfshead Company of Archers, held the second leg of their Open Championships in Blanchardstown and in contention for CúChulainn were Adria Quinn, who took gold, in the senior women’s Compound category; Peter Gilmore, gold, masters’ men’s Barebow category; Neil Keeble, gold, senior men's Barebow category; and Brendan Forde who came fourth in a very heavily-contested Recurve category.

Congratulations to Neil who, along with his gold medal, took two Irish records, and Peter Gilmore, who also took two Irish records with his gold medal.

Competing for CúChulainn Archers at the Ken McClean Memorial Las Vegas Shoot hosted by Muckamore Company of Archers were Alan Convery, who won the bronze medal with Robert Hall coming fourth in what was a hotly contested senior men's Compound category. Paul McClelland won the gold in masters’ men’s Compound category. JoAnn Bell took the gold in masters’ women's Compound category; and Peter Gilmore took silver in the masters’ men’s Barebow category.
