Do not try hard to suppress your emotions. Everyone feels lonely sometimes. Feeling alone doesn't make you a loser or weak, so the best way is to acknowledge your emotion.

​Reach out

Sometimes you have to solve the problem while other times you need to solve how you feel about the problem. If you are feeling lonely because you are missing your friends, just call them and connect with them. Even talking to a friend over a phone call helps a lot.

​Connect people from your past

Sometimes it is easier to connect with people from your past rather than making new friends. It's always a nice way of dealing with your loneliness. You can talk about all the fun, laughter you shared and tell them how much you miss hanging out with them.

​Learn something new

You can sign on for new online classes in the areas of your interest. If you like cooking, you can sign on for a cooking class. Language classes also help.

Engaging in a new hobby is the best way to cope with loneliness. Explore what excites you. Join dance classes, singing classes or any classes of your interest area.

Routine

Try to stick to a routine. Make plans for your day in advance. Try to include gym, exercises, yoga, meditation in the part of your routine.
