Welcome to Leighton Buzzard Badminton Club

Join our friendly badminton club located at Tiddenfoot Centre. We have approximately 30 members who play at an intermediate to advanced level in the Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Leagues, and for 2023/24 season will also play in Bedfordshire leagues..

With two club nights per week, our members enjoy plenty of court time.

Wednesday's: 20:00-22:00

Sunday's: 19:00-21:00

We have TWO club nights, Wednesdays 8-10pm and Sundays 7-9pm, both held at Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre, Mentmore Road, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 2AF. (If you can only make one of those nights, we offer a reduced rate for one night membership.)

At club nights, we operate a pegboard system to try to ensure good rotation of games. The person at the top of the pegboard plays on the next available court and selects 3 players from the next 6 pegs.

Home matches are held on a Sunday evening, and club night runs in parallel as the sports hall has 6 courts.

We enter a number of teams into the Milton Keynes League and the Aylesbury League. We typically enter 5 Mens teams, a Medley team and a Mixed team. In 2023/24 season we will also enter teams into the Bedfordshire leagues.

We use feather shuttles for matches and clubnights.

Visitors are welcome and charged a payment per session attended. We try to ensure members are of a good competitive standard. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate beginners.
