Senior Jack Lundin is set to represent University of Missouri men’s golf on the world stage as he was named to the United States Team for the 2024 Arnold Palmer Cup, announced on Golf Network on Tuesday afternoon.

Set to be held at Lahinch Golf Club in Lahinch, Ireland from July 5-7, the Arnold Palmer Cup is a Ryder Cup-style tournament featuring the top men’s and women’s college golfers and matching the United States against a team of international players. Lundin is one of 12 golfers in the nation selected for the United States team – 10 via committee selection with an additional coach’s pick and one non-Division I selection.

Additionally, Lundin is the second Tiger to earn an invitation and the first to represent the United States as Rory Franssen played for Team Europe in 2017.

Lundin has enjoyed one of the best seasons by a Tiger during the 2023-24 campaign. Ranked as the nation’s No. 11 golfer, Lundin has posted a 69.27 stroke average in 30 rounds of play this season. Coming off back-to-back titles at The Hootie at Bulls Bay and the Tiger Intercollegiate, he has finished in the top five in 7-of-10 tournaments this season, including each of the last five.

A native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Lundin is a five-time SEC Golfer of the Week this year.

The Arnold Palmer Cup was co-founded by Arnold Palmer and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and began at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge, Orlando, Florida, in 1997. Since its inception, over 245 former Arnold Palmer Cup alumni have gone on to earn cards on the PGA, DP World, or LPGA Tours; 44 have represented Europe or the USA in the Ryder Cup, Presidents Cup, or Solheim Cup and more than 90 have claimed over 415 victories on the PGA, DP World, or LPGA Tours.

The United States leads the Palmer Cup series 14-12-1.

Lundin and the Tigers return to action tomorrow morning, opening the SEC Championship in Georgia.
