“This piece was inspired by the mythology behind the company. I really loved the imagery behind the Roman god Janus. He was considered to be the god of beginnings and ends, concrete and abstraction, and other dualities. I really wanted to create something to pay homage to the classical depictions of Janus and the Janus motorcycle company. To do this, I painted classic styled helmets on the two heads of Janus.” – Reilly Stasienko
