Welcome to the 3rd TMG Horizon

Trophy and our small team’s 6th year of race organisation. Cycle Sport continues to enjoy a rising profile in the UK and there are many new events on the race calendar this season, but we remain committed to putting on a challenging race with higher categories of rider in mind for whom it’s often diffcult to find suitable fixtures. We aim to do our bit to maintain and strengthen the presence of Cycle Road Racing on the Road in the same way it happens in the cycle racing heartland of mainland europe. Massive thanks go to the volunteers who’ve given up their day to make sure everything goes safely and smoothly. We would also like to thank local residents for their patience during the event. We have done what we can to minimise any disruption and we hope you can join us for the race. If you are spectating, can you please make sure you are parked off the race circuit so that the riders can pass safely.

THE COURSE Race Distance 162km (approx 7.75 laps)

M M The race is neutralised leaving Wing and continues past the left turn to Cublington where the neutralised section ends (M). Just after entering Stewkley, turn left (M) to proceed down the hill in the direction of Dunton (beware of failed road surface), continuing along this road until reaching the A413 where it turns left (M) towards Whitchurch. At the mini roundabout (M) continue along the A413 until reaching the left turn at the end of the village in the direction of Cublington (M). Continue along this road for 4.7km to cross the finish line (7 full laps after 1st crossing); continue straight through Cublington to the very end of this road where you turn left to complete the circuit.
