Brennan takes charge of Tipp club

Kilkenny great Eddie Brennan is the new manager of Tipperary senior hurling club Moycarkey-Borris.
The Littleton-based outfit announced the high-profile appointment following their AGM last Friday. The eight-time All-Ireland SHC winner will be joined by selectors Brian Moran, Pa Carey and Eamon Donnelly along with coaches Willy Ryan and Owen Casey.
Brennan managed Laois in 2019 and 2020, and has had stints with Cuala in Dublin and Roscrea, who he coached to Tipperary IHC honours last year, since then. Last crowned Tipperary senior hurling champions in 1984, Moycarkey-Borris only retained their senior status last year by virtue of a relegation semi-final win over Éire Óg Annacarty.
