About HCBA

Heanor Community Bowls Association (HCBA) is newly formed to run the new pavilion at Deepdale Court, Heanor. Heanor Town and Excelsior bowls clubs both will operate from the new pavilion as clubs in their own right. The HCBA has been formed to try and expand bowls into the wider community.

Bowls

HCBA offer membership to two different bowls clubs, Heanor town or Heanor Excelsior. Both clubs play flat green bowls and will soon have the opportunity to play indoor bowls at their facilities. HCBA are affiliated to Disability bowls to help the club develop further and become fully inclusive for all.

Our new pavilion should be completed and fully accessible by the end of March 2020.

The new pavilion will not just be used for bowls, but also can be hired on a one off or regular basis for local clubs and organisations. It is a brand new facility which includes a seating area for 60 people and a small kitchen. It is also a disabled friendly facility including dementia friendly signage.
