CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's golf program will continue its Spring slate this weekend when it makes the trip to Panama City to compete in the Lady Bison Classic hosted at the Bay Point Golf Club. The Crimson will compete in the three-day tournament beginning on Friday, March 22.

Harvard last competed in its Spring break trip to New Orleans at the Tulane Classic hosted at English Turn Golf and Country Club. The Crimson placed 10
th in the tournament with a combined team score of 916. Sophomore
Charissa Shang was the leader on the team this weekend, posting a three-round score of 12-over par to finish in 35th place in the field. Shang, who made her season debut after missing the Fall season, posted an impressive third-round score of one-over par (73) to finish as the team leader.
Bridget Ma and
Meiyi Yan also finished in the top half of the field at T-44 and T-47, respectively. Ma opened up the tournament with an impressive even-par round of 72 - a tournament round low for the Crimson - and finished a 14-over par.
Meiyi Yan posted steady scores of 76, 78 and 77 to finish 15-over for the tournament.
Up Next
Harvard will have one more tune up tournament before the Ivy League Championships when it makes the trip to Ohio to compete in the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational. The 54-hole tournament will take place on April 6-7 at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green.
