Overview
Archery is a fantastic sport that almost anyone can do. You could be the next Robin Hood or Olympian... Or you could come over and just have a wonderful time with other Archers. We laugh a lot... mostly at ourselves. Archery is easy to start, fun to continue and can take you almost anywhere. We have tournaments, fun and games, some of us are serious about it, some are more social-archers.
We enjoy the sunshine in the summer and the shelter of indoors in the winter.
Our sessions are straight forward and relaxing. Yet, they can challenge us to do better each time we come to Club. Our facilities allow us to shoot plenty of times per week, which can't be a bad thing, can it?
You will be part of a super Archery Club with over 100 members from all over Norfolk. The noble sport will leave you wanting to know more and eek out how you can improve at each session.
We are affiliated to Archery GB and have access to good advice for any particular needs.
We are an OnTarget Club and work closely with our Community.

We run beginners classes all the time. We would provide one to one tuition to meet the needs of anyone who comes along. Our courses can be found on our website as well as a sign up form for us to find out a bit about you, prior to you coming along for a course.
Our vibrant club has over 100 members and is very sociable. We have a huge field to shoot in with many targets which also provides for those archers who wish to be left on their own to shoot.
We run tournaments, have fun days, host have a go's and have regular club sessions. We also have a cinema club, curry club and plenty of get togethers.

When we meet:
Outdoor Archery is 365 days - sunrise to sunset. Indoors is available Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:30 hours. Fridays from 19:00 hours and Saturdays from 13:30 hours. Each session indoors is for around 1:45 hours. Outdoors, you can stay all day.

Wymondham Archers is a family friendly Archery Club. We shoot 365 days per year outdoors at Wymondham Rugby Football Club in Wymondham and indoors all the way through the winter at Easton College, Norwich.

Equipment:
We would discuss with each beginner what their particular needs were and do our very best to meet these. For blind archers we would need an engineered solution but these are available commercially.
We also know of people who could help us with designed solutions to enable the archer to shoot.
We will discuss all this with any beginner who wants to try archery with us.

Accessibility Information:
Our indoor Archery Range has full access for all users. It is on ground level with self opening doors. Our Outdoor Range has good access to the car park with a slope and grass to navigate to the Range. We have access to toilets on some weekday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays in the Summer.
Indoors there are changing facilities but outdoors, alas no.
Both indoors and out have parking very close to the Archery Ranges.
