Final Score: Eagles 65 : 41 CD Phoenix

On 19th January U16’s Eagles played against CD Phoenix in the south regional League. Another great team effort from the U16’s.

Both teams started strongly, with the score at the end of the first quarter being fairly close. By keeping up our high intensity, at half time Eagles U16 managed to increase the gap between the scores.

We continued to push on, with great defensive work from everyone, getting 42 turn overs and great Circle Defence from Izzy and Katie getting 16 rebounds. Also strong attacking ability with lots of shooting opportunities and successful centre passes.

Well done to Becky (WA) who was chosen as player of the match for her slick attacking skills!
