In an electrifying matchup on Friday, February 23rd at Oracle Arena, the Delphi Oracles Boys Basketball team secured a thrilling victory against the Frankfort Hot Dogs, with a final score of 72-68. The packed gymnasium roared with excitement as the Oracles battled their way to success. Chase Almager’s Historic Achievement The spotlight shone brightly on shooting guard Chase Almager, who etched his name into Delphi basketball history. With a remarkable performance, Almager reached a momentous milestone: scoring his 1,000th career point. The crowd erupted in applause as he joined 12 other members of the Oracle Club. Intense Action on the Court The game was back and forth as multiple Hot Dogs put pressure on the Delphi defense. The Oracles displayed tenacity, teamwork, and unwavering determination. Here’s a breakdown of the standout performances: Chase Almager: Not only did he achieve the 1,000-point mark, but Almager also led the scoring charge with 21 points.
