Game Points

The Godrej Hillside Club completed its first year on 24 December, 2004.

During the year, the Club has organised a number of camps for swimming, tennis, table tennis, yoga, aerobics, roller-skating, etc. These camps not only helped new recruits learn the basics, but also helped existing players to learn the finer points of these activities.

The Club also held swimming and badminton competitions, which elicited a lot of enthusiasm.

The Club made efforts at honing social skills by organising classes for the popular and graceful Latin American dance called Salsa, under the guidance of an expert coach.

For the past six months, the Club has shown a movie or held Housie sessions over weekends. On a number of weekends we’ve also had “Open House?days when a member is allowed to bring in guests without payment of guest entry fees with the aim to enable as many employees as possible to get a flavour of what the Club has to offer.

Hopefully, in the near future, we should be in a position to organise speakers on subjects such as food and nutrition, personality development, philosophy, etc. as also on counselling children on choice of careers, apart from entertainment programmes.
