GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin University men's tennis team lost 8-1 in its first match since its spring break trip to Bethel (Ind.) on Saturday at Huizenga Tennis and Track Center.
Bethel (8-8) jumped in front from the starting, winning all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 overall lead.
The Calvin (7-2) number-one team of

Bethel won the other five matches in straight sets to secure the overall win.
COACH'S COMMENT: "I have to give Bethel a lot of credit today," Calvin head tennis coach
John Ross said. "They are extremely talented and we had a difficult time getting on the offensive end of the rally."
