We play in lots of different leagues, of varying standards.
Herts County Netball League
This our highest standard of netball. We play in the fiercely contested Division 2 at the impressive indoor sports centre at Ridgeway Academy in Welwyn on Sundays. Over the years we’ve worked our way up to this level, winning the local leagues and then getting promoted through the divisions, and we continue to target improvement year on year, expanding our squad and working on team cohesiveness. There’s nothing quite like a game where it goes goal-for-goal only for us to snatch victory in the dying seconds!
Harlow Netball League
This is our main midweek competitive netball – 40 minute games of fast, attacking action on alternate Tuesday evenings at Harlow LeisureZone. We consistently compete at the upper end of Division 1, while our other teams offer quality netball across a range of standards and mean we have something for players of all abilities.
Bishop's Stortford & District Netball League
We co-founded this netball league back in 1980, when there was no netball in the immediate locality for our newly established, aspiring club! We have one team in the league which takes place on Sunday mornings, outdoors at the Herts & Essex Sports Centre in Bishop’s Stortford. It’s an excellent venue with brand new courts and is a great opportunity for players looking for a friendly but competitive game of netball.
Turnford Summer Netball League
As we move into summer and the days stretch longer, it’s time for one thing – summer netball! We play in the summer league at Wormley Playing Fields, where we’re in the top division after working our way up through the ranks. It’s another fiercely competitive league with close games and we definitely come away feeling like we’ve had a workout!
