Jamie Walker wins junior singles for third time
Northamptonshire’s Jamie Walker won the Men’s National Junior Singles Championship, supported by David Mitchell-Gears MBE, for the third time in six years yesterday after a string of impressive performances.
Walker, from Northampton West End BC, defeated Nottinghamshire’s Jack Emmerson in the final to complete the title hat-trick in his final year at junior level – and in his three games today his three opponents combined scored just 20 shots in total.
