LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The UIndy softball team earn the nine spot in the new National Fastpitch Coaches Association DII poll, released Tuesday. With a record of 6-1, the Greyhounds moved up one spot from last week's poll.
UIndy swept their competition at the Music City Invitational, defeating
Thomas More,
Cedarville, and
Gannon.
Emily O'Connor also had a significant weekend in Nashville, breaking breaking school records for both career RBIs and career doubles. With 198 RBIs, the fifth-year senior is also on track to be the first-ever Greyhound to reach 200.
