Steffan Adcock near miss in the final of National Under 25 Singles.

Congratulations to Steffan for such a good campaign in getting to the final. Steffan was beaten 7-2, 6-4 by Thornaby's Paul Mosley in the final at Nottingham on Sunday.

Club NEWS - 24th January 2004

Denny Plate lost after a good fight.

The Denny Plate quarter-final was today won by the Cyphers club 91 shots to Wymondhams 74 shots. Wymondham Dell congratulate the Cyphers players and wish them good luck in the semi-final and final. Well done.

CONGRATULATIONS to the mens team for reaching the DENNY PLATE Quarter-Finals

The Dell team met the City of Birmingham team on Saturday 21st December, with two rinks playing home at the Dell and two rinks playing away at Birmingham. After a close game the final result was in Wymondham Dells favour, 79-75 shots. The Quarter final will be played against the Cyphers club on a neutral green at St Neots on Saturday the 24th January.


Club NEWS - April 2003

John Ottaway (Wymondham Dell) and Mervyn King (Hunstanton EBA) have been selected for England's centenary test series being played from July 30th to August 10th 2003.

Norfolk swept to a fine win (50-41) against Hampshire in the final of the English Under-25 Inter-County Double Rink bowls title at Melton Mowbrary. Norfolk was represented by :- Jamie Chestney (Pentney), James Howlett (Acle), Steffan Adcock (Wymondham Dell) and Lewis Moore (Browston Hall), 32-18 and Tim Stone (Acle), George Tubby (Acle), Daniel Harris (Browston Hall) and Neil Moulton (Gallows), 18-23.

In the Norfolk County Indoor singles final, John Ottaway beat Jamie Chestney (Pentney).

Wymondham Dell "A" team failed to beat relegation from the premier division of the indoor county fours league after a poor season. Relegation to Division 1 for the 2003/2004 season is the first season in the history of the league where Wymondham Dell will be out of premier bowls.
