Stockport Trinity Cricket Club | About Us

Cricket has been played at Highfield Road in Bramhall since the early 1900s, with the earliest records Trinity Cricket Club dating back to 1923.

Trinity CC takes its name from the nearby Trinity Methodist Church, which owns the land.    The cricket club is run as a charitable organisation and is funded and run through the efforts of its members and the Friends of Trinity Cricket Club.

The club runs a wide range of cricketing and social activities for Men, Women and Juniors.   In 2019 our 1st XI was promoted to Division 1 of the Cheshire Cricket League and the Women were promoted to Division 1 of the Cheshire Women’s Cricket League.

We run 2 Senior Teams on Saturdays (1st XI and 2nd XI), a Women’s XI and 3rd XI on Sundays and there are mid-week T20 competitions at all levels.  We also run a friendly 4th XI team in mid-week for social cricketers and to provide a pathway for Juniors into Senior cricket teams.

Our thriving Junior Cricket section has grown significantly in the last few years – now offering cricket for from age 5 (through the AllStars programme) through under-9s, under-11s, under-13s, under-15s right the way through into senior cricket.

Official club practice nights are Tuesday for the Women, Thursday for Seniors and Friday for Juniors – running throughout the season.
