About Our Club
With a shared passion for netball, Titans was formed by Lorraine Beel and Claire Turner in the Summer of 2002, with the aim of bringing people together and to provide a social fitness activity to committed players looking to improve their netballing abilities. In 2021 we opened the Tiverton Branch of Titans Netball Club as the first junior club in Mid Devon.
At Titans we welcome players of all ages and abilities in a friendly and encouraging environment, whether you’re a complete beginner looking to try a new sport or an experienced player wanting to play competitively. Our regular training sessions are informative and fun with a focus on making netball enjoyable at any level.
We also welcome non-playing members to the club who may wish to be involved with coaching, umpiring or just to lend support!

Oct 2022 - Titans secure £1000 funding from John Fowlers Holiday Parks, to help with their Coaching / Umpiring pathway for our Coaches/Umpires. Titans had a special visit from Freddy the mascot to present our cheque.

U14's secure Div One spot
Oct 2022 - Titans U14's have secured a spot in the South West Regional U14 Division One League for 2022/23 season. Needing to finish in the top four of their group for the SWR seeding tournament, they did one better to finish third. The stand out game of the day being against undefeated Bath Cougars to take the win. Looking forward to seeing them in action throughout the season. A great achievement for this squad, with players coming from both our North Devon & Tiverton branches.

Mascot for Titans - Jo Jo
Sept 2022 - 'Jo Jo' mascot was presented to Titans on their 20th Anniversary. Named in memory of our wonderful Coach Jo Elliott, this mascot will be forever treasured in our hearts. Beautifully made by our talented member Amber Manley.

Team Stars U16's secure a spot in SWR
Oct 2022 - Our U16 Team Stars squad have secured a spot in the South West Regional U16 Division Two League for 2022/23 season. Their hard work and dedication has pulled off, and can't wait to see them in action from November.

U14's Runners up in County Tournament
Sept 2022 - Titans U14's produced a fabulous display of netball, to take Runners up Spot at the East Devon County qualifying tournament. Now onto the South West Regional tournament to establish which division they will play in for 2022/23 season.

20th Anniversary for Titans
Sept 2022 - Titans certainly know how to celebrate in style. Our amazing Events & Fundraising team produced a party of all parties, at the Portmore, in Barnstaple. 70 members enjoyed a fabulous evening, celebrating this amazing milestone.

100 Hours volunteering completed
July 2022 - 14 year old Rhianna has been recognised by England Netball for completing her 100 hours volunteering at Titans. Rhianna was awarded with a certificate and hoody. You can regularly see Rhianna assisting our Senior Coaches at our Junior training sessions, as well as excelling on the umpiring pathway, in which she has already gained her 'C' award.
