Auckland Junior Team Claim Quadrangular Title for 10th Consecutive Year

The annual Junior Quadrangular tournament contested by Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Northland, was held over the weekend at the Hamilton Squash & Tennis Club.  Each district team is composed of 18 players across a range of age groups and following the three rounds of matches against the other districts, Auckland emerged with the title for the tenth consecutive year.

The team put in a dominant display across all three rounds with wins against Northland 17-1, Bay of Plenty 16-2, and Waikato 13-4.

Congratulations to all the team members along with coaches Manu Yam and Mark Waldin.  Based on the annual hosting rotation the 2020 tournament will be held in Auckland, with North Shore being the last Auckland venue to host in 2016.
