Note that the Lower School is actually towards the top of Darwin Lane (not to be muddled with Tapton School which is lower down the hill) so make sure you get the right bit of school.

Access by car is from Darwin Lane, along the driveway that goes past the astroturf pitch, and leads to the car park. From the car park, walk further along the driveway with the trees on your right, and the sport centre is the final building in front of you and to your left, with the door in the wall facing you. It should be open, but if it’s not, knock loudly so the man on duty can hear you and let you in. The sports hall is at the end of the corridor.

For public transport from the city centre, choose the 51 bus to Lodge Moor and jump off at Manchester Road/Vernon Terrace stop. Walk down across gras pitches on tarmac footpath towards our sports hall below the pitches.

Alternatively, from the city centre choose the 120 bus to Fulwood and jump off at Fulwood Road/Tapton Park Road stop. Walk up Tapton Park Road, then Darwin Lane. Ignore Tapton School car park and continue further up Darwin Lane until you see the King Edward VII School car park to your right. Walk past the outdoor pitches to your left and then the school until you reach our sports hall.
