Competitive Badminton
Penlan Badminton club are friendly, welcoming club play in the Swansea and West Glamorgan District League. Our teams compete at all levels in the local league structure. Playing doubles badminton with male, female and mixed pairs and we are always on the lookout for new and experienced players to join our club. Look through our website and contact us for further information. With links to social clubs in the area, if a competitive club isn’t for you, we can suggest something more suitable.

Available Coaching
We have a number of BWF qualified coaches in club. They regularly take in club coaching sessions and provided technical and tactical feedback to our members.

More than badminton.
Our club committee regularly organise social events. Club golf events, footgolf through the summer and we often meet up for food and drinks.

We provide a safe and fun environment with experienced players available to help anyone looking to improve their badminton.

Starting in March 2024, Penlan Junior Badminton Club provides a fun, safe place for children ages 10-17 to learn to play badminton. 

Organised and coached by Badminton Wales and NSPCC Certified coaches, you can be assured that your child will learn the game with people who will always put their safety first. 

We run hour sessions on Monday’s at Penlan Leisure Centre with 4-5pm for school years 6-8 and 5-6pm for school years 9-11.

We are a friendly and welcoming club, we love to see new faces enjoying the sport. 

Between September and April, spaces are limited due to our teams playing league matches most weeks.
