Between 15th June and 23rd June 10 members of Keele Mountaineering Club will take on the challenge of Africa's largest free standing mountain-Kilimanjaro. The members are doing this both for a personal challenge and also to raise money for some very worthy causes; Air Ambulance and Mountain Rescue. As well as this some members will also be raising money for personal charities. If you feel you can support our effort in any way please visit our sponsorship page.
In order to be ready both mentally and physically for the challenge members have spent many hours training, doing both a personal exercise plan and spending weekends climbing and walking all over England. Visit the Other Trips for infomation on our more local trips and challenges.
