The Badminton Team of Nam Kwong Group Participates in the Charity Badminton Tournament of Caritas Macao

To promote badminton in Macao, encourage staff to be concerned with communities, assist the underprivileged and support the charity fund-raising by charity groups serving the society of Macao on a long-term basis, the Badminton Team of Nam Kwong Group participated in the “Charity Badminton Tournament” organized by Caritas Macao on August 25. The participation intends to integrate sports into philanthropy and the fund raised from the activity will be used to support the charity service to the handicapped.

The Tournament was held in Macau Baptist College and in addition to Nam Kwong Group, nine other organizations participated in the event, such as Macau Transport Bureau, Jiangmen Communal Sports Society and Caritas Nursery. In the Tournament, the Badminton Team members of Nam Kwong Group played in concerted efforts and fought bravely. After four rounds of strenuous competition, the Team won the third place for team competition. The Tournament has provided an opportunity for the Team members to fully exercise themselves, compete in techniques and deepen exchange through mutual cooperation. The large-scale sports event has also deepened their understanding of Macao and connection with other societies.

Since its establishment in August, the Badminton Team of Nam Kwong Group has participated in badminton competitions organized by Macao societies for two weeks in a row and obtained good results. Both regulars and backups have supported and backed each other in competitions, displaying the great sports spirit of facing up to difficulties, braveness to fight, solidarity and cooperation. It is hoped that the staff will carry the spirit to their work with courage to pioneer and perseverance to fight, thus making contributions towards corporate development.
