Troubleshooting: Making SafeSearch permanent

Print

The easiest way to limit changes to the SafeSearch filter is to lock your SafeSearch setting.

If you deploy a proxy on your web traffic, it may be possible to configure your proxy to append &safe=strict to all requests sent to images.google.com. This appendage enables strict SafeSearch for all Google Images searches, regardless of the setting on the Google Preferences page.
