William Davis had his head cut off in his home in Digey, St Ives on 13 March 1907. A boy was charged with the child's murder but was later discharged. The mother said that she last saw her child alive on the afternoon of the Thursday at 4pm. She said that she had left it in the cradle in the kitchen.
