Using the logo
The Google logo is the most prominent visual representation of our brand, and we want it be used in the right way. We generally do not approve the use of our logo in third-party marketing materials. This includes online and offline advertising collateral such as:
- Case studies
- Client and referral lists
- Sales presentations
- Print, broadcast, outdoor or online ads
- Product demos
- Trade show booths
If you're working with Google on a project or initiative, please work with your Google contact to coordinate third-party marketing permissions. We ask that our vendors not advertise us as clients using promotional pieces, but they can list us as clients on their website.
Our Doodles (illustrated logos) are featured throughout the year on our homepage. We've created a gallery where you can enjoy them, but we generally don’t grant permission for their use by others. We also do not grant permission for users to create and publish their own versions of the Google logo.
Merchandise featuring the Google logo
We receive lots of requests from folks who want to incorporate the Google logo or Google product logos into a new T-shirt design, a toy, software packaging or other products. Unfortunately, we cannot grant permission for these uses. However, if you'd like to purchase Google merchandise, please head on over to our online merchandise store.
