Abstract
The invention relates to an angulation device for a flexible endoscope, comprising an angulation body having a first angulation portion connected to a second angulation portion, said first and second angulation portions being hinged to one another such as to define a relative to-and-fro movement therebetween, providing the angulation of a curved portion of the endoscope. The angulation device can be combined with a control device for peripheral elements of an endoscope, comprising a plurality of electromyography sensors and another control device comprising a plurality of buttons disposed around a ring. Said devices can be combined with a pulse unit for an endoscope, comprising processing means and at least one peripheral element, and an outlet which is associated with the peripheral element and which can be connected to a channel of the endoscope that is joined to an insertion tube.
