Description
Weitmaschiges Netz Wide-meshed network
The invention relates to a weitmaschiges network of net threads.
Such networks are known in a variety of different embodiments and various uses, and serve in the broadest sense to limit or subdivide a space. The nets are made by a criss-crossing connection between the nets, the nets being made of any suitable elongated material of round or flat cross-section. The material, the type of connection and the mesh size result from the use. In general, grids, in contrast to grids, are flexible entities, but the transition is quite fluent. The ratio of net thread width or diameter to the opening width of the stitch is expressed by the mesh size. Narrow or fine-meshed nets have small openings and wide or coarse-mesh nets larger openings. A limit is not defined here either.
Compared with closed continuous sheet material such as foils, sheets, etc., the apertures make it difficult to use the networks for reproducing information because the presentation surface is limited to the net threads and is missing in each mesh opening. The more meshy the network, the poorer the quality of information presentation. Apart from the possibility of hanging at least a part of the network with a banner or a banner, there is also no lack of proposals to increase the presentation area of the or and the network threads themselves, for example by round and wider flat net threads are used (GB 23 23 390 ) or by widening and widening sections of the net threads (WO 87/02900, US Pat. No. 6,004,649, WO 2004/109631). However, these proposals are unsatisfactory, especially for networks to be used outdoors, since they only offer a poor compromise and the visibility or readability of the information depends on the lighting conditions. Only if the information is readable and identifiable as much as possible and under all usual lighting conditions can the networks also be used as advertising space. For this use, a ratio of presentation area to mesh size of at least 1: 1 is required. As safety nets in sufficiently deep downspouts of Schirennstrecken wide meshed networks, so-called B-networks are used in rows one behind the other, in which the above ratio is about 1:10 to 1: 20, ie, for example, network threads with 3 to 5 mm in diameter limit square mesh openings of 4 to 10 cm side length. The nets are hung particularly soft and yielding to gently slow down the falling racer, with the anchorages of the nets continue to give way. For this, however, a minimal resistance to wind must be given, which is achieved only by the extreme Weitmaschigkeit.
Furthermore, wide-mesh nets are braced as windbreak on appropriate constructions, for example, for ball courts and stadiums, especially tennis, for ski jumps, etc., whereby the exercise of the sport is safe and easy even in stronger winds and stronger gusts of wind. The constructions are designed so that the nets are lowered when exceeding a certain wind strength.
It is obvious that, especially in the two last-mentioned applications as collecting and protective nets, there is no commercially acceptable possibility for information reproduction, since the ratio of 1: 1 is not achievable.
The invention now proposes for this purpose a wide-meshed network, on each of which a net thread arranged projecting flags are provided. The flags now increase the presentation area of the wide-meshed network that can be provided with information, without influencing or changing the net itself or the net threads. Each flag is attached only to a net thread, but not to the other three threads of the stitch.
Insbesondere bei derartigen Netzen ist daher vorgesehen, dass dieOf course, each flag increases the air resistance of the network and with strained nets, which are attached as a windbreak, this is particularly important. In particular, in such networks is therefore provided that the
Flags of horizontal net threads are arranged hanging down. If the wind is stronger, the stitches will open as the flags deflect or sway in the wind direction, reducing the drag against the wind until it is essentially barely larger than the horizontal net itself. Leaves the Wind down, the flags fall back to their down hanging home position.
Bei anderen Netzen, wie beispielsweise den erwähnten Auffangnetzen können die Fahnen nicht nur an einem horizontalen sondern auch an einem vertikalen Netzfaden, gegebenenfalls auch selbstrückstellend angeordnet sein, beispielsweise aufgrund einerIn other networks, such as the aforementioned collecting nets, the flags can be arranged not only on a horizontal but also on a vertical net thread, possibly also self-resetting, for example due to a

Embodiment, it is also conceivable that each two flags are formed by a material strip arranged centrally on a material strip, as well as that each flag is glued or welded to the net thread.
The flags are in their basic position preferably aligned parallel to the net surface, but may, depending on the main viewing direction of the viewer, also protrude at a small angle to the net surface. Furthermore, it can be provided, in particular with horizontally hinged flags, that the flags substantially fill the mesh openings. If, due to expected strong winds, the flags are smaller than the mesh openings, the above-mentioned ratio of presentation area to mesh size should not be undershot. When standing in the basic position obliquely to the net surface flags, it is also conceivable to form them slightly larger than the mesh opening.
Preferably, a material with a basis weight of at most 100 g per square meter, in particular from 50 to 60 g / m 2 is used for the flags. Such a material is found especially in the form of a polyester Ripstopgewebes spinnaker material referred to, which has a high tensile strength and a particularly high tear propagation resistance due to a special weaving technique, the latter being of minor importance in the inventive use.
For the free-swinging articulation of the flags on the horizontal net threads is further preferably provided that each flag has a slot and surrounds the net thread, wherein one side of the flag is provided with a plug-in slot through the tongue. The net may have a flag in each mesh. However, depending on the type of information to be presented, it is of course conceivable not to place flags in unused areas of the network.
Hereinafter, the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the figures, without being limited thereto.
