Abstract
When a general lighting apparatus lights up a rear curtain of a stage with colors, bright and dark parts are unevenly formed on the irradiation surface, thus the present invention discloses an apparatus for lighting which can evenly light up an irradiation surface with colors according to the shape of the irradiation surface, by attaching at least one light emitting diode to at least two bases and moving the bases.
Description
Description
LED LIGHTING APPARATUS
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to an apparatus for lighting using a light emitting diode. Background Art
[2] When a conventional lighting apparatus lights up a wall, a ceiling or a rear curtain of a stage with colors by irradiating light, it lights up the corresponding surface from a first direction of the end of the color irradiation range or a second direction of the opposite side end to the end, regardless of a vertical surface and a plane surface.
[3] An electric bulb or a fluorescent lamp has been used as a light source of the conventional lighting apparatus. An irradiation angle of light is short in the front direction and wide. To prevent diffusion of light by narrowing the irradiation angle, a reflecting mirror is attached to the inside surface surrounding the electric bulb or a lens is used.
[4] The conventional lighting apparatus will now be explained with reference to Figs. 5 and 6. As illustrated in Fig. 5, the lighting apparatuses 14 light up an irradiation surface 13 with colors. Part of the irradiation surface 13 adjacent to the lighting apparatuses 14 is bright and part of the irradiation surface 13 far from the lighting apparatuses 14 is dark.
[5] As shown in Fig. 6, in order to evenly light up the irradiation surface 13, the lighting apparatuses 14 are installed to face each other. However, the center portion of the irradiation surface 13 is still dark due to faint light.
[6] As described above, the plurality of lighting apparatuses are used to evenly light up the irradiation surface with colors, or the lens or reflecting mirror is used to prevent diffusion of light by narrowing the irradiation angle. Therefore, expenses for installing the lighting apparatuses or the lens/mirror is incurred. Nevertheless, still referring to Fig. 6, the light weak range, namely, the dark part is formed. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[7] The present invention is achieved to solve the above problems. An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for lighting which can cut down the installation cost by evenly lighting up an irradiation surface with colors.
Technical Solution
[8] In order to achieve the above-described object of the invention, there is provided an apparatus for lighting including light emitting diodes having different irradiation angles as light sources, and controlling the luminous intensity (the intensity of il-
lumination) of each of the light emitting diodes, for uniformizing the luminous intensity of light on the irradiation surface.
[9] The apparatus for lighting obtains a target irradiation position and a target irradiation angle by moving bases to which at least one light emitting diode is attached.
[10] The apparatus for lighting controls the luminous intensity by a voltage control device of the at least one light emitting diode. Also, the apparatus for lighting can irradiate light farther than the general lighting apparatus by using the at least one light emitting diode.
Advantageous Effects
[11] As discussed earlier, in accordance with the present invention, the lighting apparatus evenly lights up the irradiation surface, for example, the rear curtain of the stage with colors, controls the luminous intensity of light, and cuts down the installation cost.
Brief Description of the Drawings
[12] The present invention will become better understood with reference to the accompanying drawings which are given only by way of illustration and thus are not limitative of the present invention, wherein:
[13] Fig. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a using state of a lighting apparatus in accordance with the present invention;
[14] Fig. 2 is a perspective view illustrating variable bases and variable joints for varying irradiation angles;
[15] Fig. 3 is a perspective view illustrating a multilateral irradiation state;
[16] Fig. 4 is a perspective view illustrating a curved surface irradiation state;
[17] Fig. 5 is a perspective view illustrating an irradiation state of a general lighting apparatus from a first direction; and
[18] Fig. 6 is a perspective view illustrating an irradiation state of the general lighting apparatus from a second direction. Mode for the Invention
[19] An apparatus for lighting in accordance with the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to Figs. 1 to 4.
[20] Referring to Fig. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes an apparatus for lighting using light emitting diodes, and 2 denotes an irradiation surface such as a rear curtain of a stage. The light emitting diodes 3, 4 and 5 are attached to variable bases 6 of Fig. 2, and the irradiation angles thereof are varied by variable base joints 7. That is, an irradiation range can be adjusted according to the width of the irradiation surface. In addition, colors can be evenly irradiated by controlling the luminous intensity by a control device 15.
[21] Figs. 3 and 4 show an application example of the apparatus for lighting which can vary the irradiation angles.
[22] In Fig. 3, the apparatus for lighting 1 lights up a vertical irradiation surface and a plane irradiation surface, for example, a rear curtain and a ceiling of a stage. Here, light emitting diodes 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 can be used as apparatus for lighting up multi- surfaces, by controlling angles of variable bases of the apparatus for lighting 1.
[23] In Fig. 4, the apparatus for lighting 1 lights up a curved surface, for example, a ceiling of an arcade. As a result, the lighting apparatus of the present invention can light up various surfaces including a plane surface and a curved surface.
[24] Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described, it is understood that the present invention should not be limited to these preferred embodiments but various changes and modifications can be made by one skilled in the art within the spirit and scope of the present invention as hereinafter claimed.
