Abstract

The invention concerns a method and a device for recording and printing restaurant tickets. The restaurant tickets are stacked in the right stacker (8) between the header (8) and the trailer (12). The movement of the tickets between the right stacker (8) and the left stacker (7) via the conveyor belt (6) allows the reader (5) or (22) depending on the advancing direction to identify the amount to be assembled during a cycle (complete reading of all the tickets). The amount to be assembled is the one following the header (4), and will be conveyed as well as all the similar amounts identified during a cycle on the conveyor belt (9) and printed by the printer (13) towards the central stacker (10) thus validating their use and their recording. When the trailer (12) is identified indicating a complete cycle, the magazine (13) releases a slightly larger separator card (4) on the belt (9) which will be printed by the printer (13) of the unitary amount of the ticket of said group multiplied by its quantity. At each cycle end the advancing direction is automatically reversed. The process is repeated as many times as different amounts until the header (4) and the trailer (12) follow each other. The magazine (13) then releases an additional printed separator card of the summary of the added groups. The positioning of the stackers (8), (7) and (10) is adjusted by the indications of the optical cells (18), (19), (20) to the engine (15), (16), (17) via a computer-programmable memory chip (22).
