Abstract

The device is bases on replacement of classical rearview mirrors mirrors by television cameras (3) placed at lateral points (1-l') and a third point (2) over the roof, with each camera protected by a small outeropping (4) on the body of the vehicle. They provide information in real time on a display screen (5) that can be shared for all of the cameras (3) or specific to each of them. Each camera (3) is mounted onto a base which gives it the mobility needed to aim it properly in accordance with specific needs at each moment.
