Abstract

A method of suturing using a suturing implement and thread clamp combination. The method includes mounting the clamp (3) on the suturing implement, inserting the implement to grip tissue to be sutured in between said jaws and passing a suturing needle, manipulated by a holder separate to the implement, through the gripped tissue and said thread clamp.
