Abstract

A display stratum (224) is formed comprising light emitting pixels for displaying information fabricated by printing conductive polymer microcapsules (218). Electronic devices are fabricated by the inventive printing method provides electrically reactive microcapsules (218) at discrete locations. A battery stratum (212) fabricated by the inventive printing method provides electrical energy to the display components. A thin, lightweight, flexible, bright, wireless display can be formed by the inventive printing method on a flexible substrate (210). A user input stratum (222) receives user input and generates the user signals.
