Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Assay auf der Basis eines Resonanz-Energie-Transfers (RET), umfassend eine erste Molekülgruppe A, die mit mindestens einem Energie-Donor markiert ist, und mindestens eine zweite Molekülgruppe B, die mit mindestens einem Energie-Akzeptor markiert ist, wobei der Donor ein Molekül oder Teilchen umfasst, das durch eine äuβere Strahlungsquelle energetisch anregbar und fluoreszenzfähig ist, der Akzeptor ein Molekül oder Teilchen umfasst, das durch Energietransfer über den Donor unter teilweiser oder vollständiger Löschung der Donor-Fluoreszenz anregbar ist, und Donor und/oder Akzeptor lumineszierende anorganische dotierte Nanoteilchen mit einer Ausdehnung von ≤ 50 Nanometer umfassen, die nach einer energetischen Anregung elektromagnetische Strahlung mit einer Stokes- oder Antistokes-Verschiebung emittieren.
