Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling a channel loading for a data transmission in a radio communications system. A multitude of first stations and a multitude of additional stations can be interconnected via at least one radio interface. Data of a connection to be transmitted is transmitted via at least one determined time slot of a transmission frame. An average channel quality can be obtained by introducing a time slot jump method for packet data transmissions in 'shared channels' by means of diversification.
