Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung zum Bestücken, welche ein Bestückelemente enthaltendes Transportband, eine Fördereinrichtung und eine Entnahmeeinrichtung für die Bestückelemente aufweist. Solche Anordnungen zum Bestücken werden üblicherweise in einem kontinuierlichen Bestückprozeß verwendet. Deshalb besteht das Transportband aus mehreren Teiltransportbändern, wobei entleerte Teiltransportbänder durch volle ersetzt werden. Beim Einfahren eines neuen Teiltransportbandes in die Entnahmeeinrichtung können Fehler auftreten, deren Ursache in der unterschiedlichen Beschaffenheit der Teiltransportbänder, beispielsweise herstellungs- oder herstellerbedingt, begründet sind. Um diese Fehler von vornherein von Fehlern der Entnahmeeinrichtung unterscheiden zu können, muß der Zeitpunkt, zu dem ein neues Teiltransportband in die Entnahmeeinrichtung einfährt, möglichst genau bekannt sein. Bei bekannten Anordnungen zum Bestücken werden die von der Entnahmeeinrichtung abgeholten Bestückelemente gezählt. Bei bekannter Anzahl von Bestückelementen je Teiltransportband kann so auf den Zeitpunkt des Einfahrens eines neuen Teiltransportbandes geschlossen werden.Such arrangements for assembly are usually used in a continuous assembly process. Die Verbindung der beiden Teiltransportbänder wird durch einen Spleißstreifen 6, der beispielsweise aus Kunststoff besteht, realisiert. Mit Hilfe der Transportlöcher 3 verschiebt die Fördereinrichtung das Transportband 2 in Längsrichtung. Zum dargestellten Zeitpunkt befindet sich unterhalb der V- förmigen Ausnehmung ein optischer Sensor 5 zur Erkennung der Verbindungsstelle.
