Abstract

Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine tragbare Computer- und Telekommunikationsvorrichtung zur Verfügung zu stellen, die die Funktionalität eines mobilen Telefons mit der Funktionalität eines Computers so in einem Gerät vereint, daß eine optimale Nutzung beider Funktionalitäten separat oder gleichzeitig erfolgen kann, und die zugleich eine modulare Erweiterbarkeit des Gerätes bietet. Die Lösung der Aufgabe besteht darin, daß eine modular aufgebaute Computer- und Telekommunikationsvorrichtung etwa in der Größe einer länglichen Brieftasche zuoberst ein Modul mit einer Telekommunikationseinrichtung enthält, das auf seiner nach außen gewandten Seite eine Telefontastatur und ein Telefondisplay aufweist, und das an seiner Innenseite ein Flachdisplay als Computeranzeigeeinrichtung aufweist, mit einem zweiten darunter angeordneten Modul, das einen Computer enthält, wobei das oberste und das darunterliegende Modul über ein Scharnier drehbar aneinander angelenkt sind, mit der Möglichkeit, am bzw. im zweiten Modul zusätzliche Module für funktionale Erweiterungen oder als zusätzliche Energieversorgungseinheiten anzubringen.

Claims

GEÄNDERTE ANSPRÜCHE[beim Internationalen Büro am 9. August 1999 (09.08.99) eingegangen; neue Ansprüche 3-20 hinzugefügt; alle weiteren Ansprüche unverändert (4 Seiten)]
1. Tragbare Computer- und Telekommunikationsvorrichtung, die eine schnurlose Telekommunikationseinrichtung und einen Computer mit Computertastatur und Computeranzeigeeinheit aufweist, und die aus mindestens zwei flachen, länglichen Modulen besteht, die drehbar so aneinander angelenkt sind, daß sie im zusammengeklappten Zustand mit je einer ihrer Flächen als Innenfläche aneinanderliegen, wobei die Computer- tastatur und die Computeranzeigeeinheit auf diesen Innenflächen angeordnet sind und an der Außenseite eines der Module eine Tastatur zur Steuerung der Telekommunikationseinrichtung vorgesehen ist, d a d u rc h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß der Computer in einem der Module und die Telekommunikationseinrichtung zusammen mit der Tastatur zur Steuerung der Telekommunikationseinrichtung in bzw. an dem zweiten Modul angeordnet sind, und daß auf der Außenseite des zweiten Moduls eine zweite Anzeigeeinheit für die Telekommunikationseinrichtung angeordnet ist.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Computertastatur an dem den Computer enthaltenden Modul und die Computeranzeigeeinheit an dem die Telekommunikationsein- richtung enthaltenden Modul angeordnet sind.
3. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Außenflächen der mindestens zwei Module im zusammengeklappten Zustand zur zur Bildung einer Einheit glatt miteinander abschliessen.

Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Tastatur zur Steuerung der Telekommunikationseinrichtung und/oder die zweite Anzeigeeinheit für die Telekommunikationseinrichtung so angeordnet sind, daß die Tastatur zur Steuerung der Telekommunikationseinrichtung und die Anzeige der zweiten Anzeigeeinheit in Zeilen und gegebenenfalls in Spalten angeordnet sind, wobei die Zeilen quer zur Längsrichtung der Module verlaufen.
5. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an und/oder in dem den Computer enthaltenden Modul weitere Module angeordnet sind.
6. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden An- sprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an und/oder in dem den
Computer enthaltenden Modul ein Energiemodul angeordnet ist.
7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Energiemodul außerhalb des den Computer enthaltenden Moduls an diesem angeordnet ist und daß die Außenflächen dieser beiden
Module zur Bildung einer Einheit glatt miteinander abschließen.
8. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 6 oder 7, dadurch gekenn- zeichnet, daß das Energiemodul einen Akkumulator aufweist.
9. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das den Computer enthaltende Modul und/oder weitere Module Erweiterungen der Speicherkapazität, für die Verarbeitung von Daten, als Radio- oder TV- Tuner, als zusätzliche Telekommunikationssende- und Empfangseinheit, in Form von Disketten- oder Harddisk-Laufwerken, mit Chip- oder Magnetstreifenkarteniesern, PCMCIA-Speicherkarten-
GEÄNDERTES BUTT (ARTIKEL 19) Steckplätzen, mit Steckkontakten für parallele und/oder serielle Schnittstellen und/oder sonstige Schnittstellen, und/oder Infrarot- Anschlüsse aufweisen.
10. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Module über Scharniere, Steck- oder Schnappverschlüsse miteinander verbunden sind.
11. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden An- sprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in das Scharnier eine fest eingebaute oder bewegliche Antenne integriert ist.
12. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Antenne vollständig versenkt in dem die Telekommunikationseinrichtung aufweisenden Modul ein gebaut ist.

Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf einer der Außenflächen der mindestens zwei Module ein Mikrofon und ein Lautsprecher angeordnet und mit der Telekommunikationseinrichtung so verbun den sind, daß die Vorrichtung als Telefon verwendbar ist.
14. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mikrofon und der Lautsprecher auf der Außenseite des zweiten
Moduls angeordnet sind.
15. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mikrofon und der Laut Sprecher auf der der Außenseite des zweiten Moduls entgegen- gesetzen Außenseite der Vorrichtung angeordnet sind.
16. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das den Computer enthaltende Modul einen Schalter zum Umschalten auf Freisprechmodus, einen Sprechbereitschalter und/oder einen Lautstärkeregler für ei nen Lautsprecher aufweist.
17. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Telekommunikations einrichtung ein Funkgerät aufweist.
18. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Computertastatur und die Computeranzeigeeinheit zur Steuerung und Kontrolle der Telekommunikationseinrichtung verwendbar sind.
19. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Computeranzeigeeinheit ein berührungssensitiver Flachbildschirm ist.
20. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Computertastatur und die Computeranzeigeeinheit auf den einander gegenüberliegenden Innenflächen zweier Module zeilen- und gegebenenfalls spalten weise so angeordnet sind, daß die Zeilen der Computertastatur bzw. der Computeranzeigeeinheit in Längsrichtung der Module verlaufen.
