Abstract

The invention relates to a turn-lock system for the releasable adjustment and alteration of the effective length of at least one clamping element (3) and comprises a turn-lock (1) with a drivable pulley (5) for winding and unwinding at least one traction cord (7), and a lock support (2). A relatively simple and space-saving arrangement for using this turn-lock system in a wide variety of articles of daily use is achieved by providing the lock support with at least one strip-shaped extension (2b) which is provided with a longitudinal guide section (8) at least for the cord (7), while the outer extremity (7a) of the cord is connected to a slider (10) which can be displaced in the direction of movement (9) of the clamping element (3) and is itself connected to the latter.
