To all whom it may conce/rn I A Be it known thatvI, A. C. MILLS, of Oaktown, in, 4the. county of Knox, and -State of Indiana, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Fly Traps; and I do hereby declare that the followingis a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification, and'in which- Y Figure 1 represents a longitudinal section of my lytrap, and

Similar letters indicate like parts in both figures.

My invention relates to the general arrangement of the 'several parts hereinafter set forth.

To enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains, to make land' use the same, I will now describe its construction and operation.

In the accompanying drawings- A represents a metal case, or box, provided, at its front end, with a flange, 'into which'is slid a glass, b.

c represents a hole, formed in one side of the box A, and provided with a sliding door, c.

In the opening c is slid the'drawer d, said drawer being used as a receptacle for poison. e represents an opening made in the bottom of the box, extending from end to end.

The operation of my trap is as follows:

' The chamber Dislined with some sweet compound,`

and the drawer' d with sweetened poison.

The iiies enter at the opening e, and are attracted into the box by the sweetening in the chamber, and,

after being in the box, there is no possible way for y and for the purpose described.
