Abstract

A method for producing an aesthetic field suspension comprising preparation of a body of gelatinous material having high yield value, then inserting a similar gelatinous material of similar characteristics therein, said similar gelatinous material being optically contrasting with said body of gelatinous material, then allowing the high yield value of the materials to hold the similar material in said body material in substantially permanent position relative to said body; the disclosure further and specifically defining a method for inserting the similar material in said body in frozen form or by means of a hollow tubular member which may be moved around in the body during the insertion of the similar material therein to form geometric or other aesthetic patterns of the similar material in the body material; the disclosure also defining a novel product related to said method.

Claims (20)

  1. 2. An aesthetic fluid suspension as described in claim 1, wherein: A. The second body of gelatinous material is a foamed.
  2. 3. An aesthetic fluid suspension as described in claim 1, wherein: A. The second body of gelatinous material contains a coloring agent which contrasts with the optical character of said first body.
  3. 4. An aesthetic fluid suspension as described in claim 1, wherein: A. The second body of gelatinous material has a distinctive form while suspended within the first body.
  4. 5. The invention, as defined in claim 1, wherein: said container is provided with a wall adapted optically to expose said bodies of gelatinous material therein.
  5. 6. The invention, as defined in claim 1, wherein: said bodies of gelatinous material are miscible; and particulate, non-soluble pigment material in one of said gelatinous materials is adapted to provide said optical contrast.
  6. 7. The invention, as defined in claim 6, wherein: the size of said particulate material ranges from a molecular size to 0.025 inches, and wherein said gelatinous materials are stable in a temperature range between -20* F. and 120* F. to maintain said high suspension yield value.
  7. 8. The invention, as defined in claim 1, wherein: a third liquid material of discontinuous phase relative to said first and second bodies is emulsified in one of said bodies.
  8. 9. The invention, as defined in claim 1, wherein: a third liquid material of discontinuous phase relative to said first and second bodies is emulsified in one of said bodies to provide an optical contrast in said fluid suspension.
  9. 10. An aesthetic fluid suspension comprising: A. A first body of gelatinous material having a high suspension yield value, B. A second body of gelatinous material disposed on the first body of material and suspended therein by the high suspension yield value of the gelatinous material, said second body having a substantially similar suspension yield value as the first body, but having an optical contrast with the first body, and C. A container for suitably enclosing the suspension and through which it may be visible.
  10. 11. In an aesthetic fluid suspension, the combination of: a container having an optical window-like structure adapted to optically expose the contents of the interior of said container; a plurality of bodies of gelatinous material having high suspension yield value, said bodies all having optically contrasting characteristics relative to each other so that each of said bodies is distinguishable optically; each of said bodies comprising a different product.
  11. 12. The invention, as defined in claim 11, wherein: said plurality of bodies are disposed in generally layered superimposed relation to each other in said container.

  18. 19. The invention, as defined in claim 16, wherein: the second material is introduced into the body of the first gelatinous material through a tubular member inserted in said body and then causing relative movement of said tubular member and said body, while delivering said second material through said tubular member to provide a pattern of said similar material in said first body.
  19. 20. A method for creating an aesthetic fluid suspension comprising: preparing a first body of gelatinous material having a high yield value, then freezing a portion of a second gelatinous material which may have a high yield value and which has an optically contrasting character relative to the material of said first body and then inserting the frozen portion of said second material into said first body.
