  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Referring to FIGS. 1-2, an embodiment of a computer system includes a chassis 10, a bracket 30, and two trays 50.
  • The chassis 10 includes a bottom plate 11 and two parallel side plates 12 perpendicularly bent up from opposite edges of the bottom plate 11. A plurality of mounting holes 112 and securing holes 114 are defined in the bottom plate 11. A plurality of posts 122 is disposed on an inner surface of each side plate 12. Each side plate post 122 includes a head portion 124 at a free end, and a neck portion 126 with a diameter smaller than that of the head portion 124. A plurality of slits 116 is defined in the bottom plate 11.
  • The bracket 30 includes a top wall 33 and two parallel side walls 31 bent perpendicularly down from two opposite edges of the top wall 33. A plurality of posts 311 is located on an outer surface of each side wall 31. Each bracket post 311 includes a head 3113, and a neck 3115 with a diameter smaller than that of the head 3113. A support flange 313 is perpendicularly bent out from a bottom edge of each side wall 31. A plurality of securing holes 3131 is defined in each support flange 313, corresponding to the securing holes 114 of the bottom plate 11 of the chassis 1O. A plurality of tabs 315 extends from a bottom edge of each side wall 31 configured for engaging in the slits 116 of the bottom plate 11 of the chassis 1O. A bent flange 317 is perpendicularly bent out from a front edge of each side wall 31.
  • Each of the trays 50 includes a bottom wall 41, and two side walls 53 extending perpendicularly upward from opposite edges of the bottom wall 41. A plurality of positioning openings 531 is defined in the side walls 53, corresponding to the posts 122, 311 of the chassis 10 and the bracket 31. Each positioning opening 531 includes an entry 5311 with a width greater than the diameter of the head portion 124 of each side plate post 122 and the head 3113 of each bracket post 311, and a locking hole 5313 with a width smaller than the width of the entry 5311, but larger than the neck portion 126 and the neck 3115.
  • Referring also to FIGS. 2-3, in assembly, the bracket 30 is placed in a middle portion of the bottom plate 11 of the chassis 10, and spaced from the side plates 12. The tabs 315 of the side walls 31 of the bracket 30 respectively engage in the slits 116 of the bottom plate 11 of the chassis 10 to prevent the bracket 30 moving along directions parallel to the bottom plate 11 of the chassis 10. The support flange securing holes 3131 align with the bottom plate securing holes 114. A plurality of fasteners 100, such as screws, engages in the support flange securing holes 3131 and the bottom plate securing holes 114 to fix the bracket 30 on the bottom plate 11 of the chassis 10. Then two circuit boards 81, 82 can be placed on the bottom plate 11 between the side walls 31 of the bracket 30 and the side plates 12 of the chassis 10. A plurality of circuit board mounting holes (not labeled) align with the bottom plate mounting holes 112 of the bottom plate 11, and a plurality of fasteners (not shown), such as screws, are respectively engaged into the bottom plate mounting hole 112 and the circuit board mounting holes so as to fix the two circuit boards 81, 82 in the chassis 10.
  • The two trays 50 are respectively placed between the side plates 11 of the chassis 10 and adjacent side walls 311 of the bracket 30. The head portions 124 of each side plate posts 122 and the head 3113 of the bracket posts 311 extend through the corresponding positioning openings 531 of the side walls 53 of the tray 50 via the corresponding entries 5311. The tray 50 is then pushed to slide the side plate post neck portions 126 and the bracket post neck 3115 into the positioning openings 531, until the side plate posts 122 and the bracket posts 311 are positioned in the locking holes 5313 of the positioning openings 531.
