Abstract

Horse riding fitness equipment includes a base provided at the top thereof with two support rods for pivotally connecting with four linked plates. Two linked plates of the four linked plates are located correspondingly to each other and are hung downward in such a manner that the lower ends extending downward from a seat frame are pivotally connected to the lower ends of the linked plates. Thereby, the seat frame is suspended from the support rods via the linked plates, and a cushion fixed on the seat frame can swing back and forth relative to the support rods. When the user sits on the cushion and starts to straighten his/her back repeatedly, the user will feel a sensation similar to riding a horse.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a horse riding fitness equipment comprises a base provided at the top thereof with two support rods for pivotally connecting with four linked plates, and each two linked plates are located correspondingly to each other and are hung downward in such a manner that the lower ends of four support rods extending downward from a seat frame are pivotally connected to the lower ends of the linked plates. Thereby, the seat frame is suspended from the support rods via the linked plates, and a cushion fixed on the seat frame can swing back and forth relative to the support rods. When the user sits on the cushion and starts to straighten his/her back repeatedly, the user will feel like riding a horse.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • In recent years, people have insufficient time to go to a gymnasium to exercise because they are busy at work, and in order to facilitate the person to exercise at any time, fitness equipment has already been widely used, and the demand for improving the fitness equipment becomes increasingly urgent.
  • The current fitness equipment is becoming more and more miniaturized, and is more applicable to home use. Ordinary fitness equipment appeared on the market such as treadmill, its technique is mature and function is perfect, however, such kind of treadmill cannot stimulate and encourage the user to buy. Moreover, the main function of the treadmill is to exercise the legs of the user, and cannot achieve the purpose of exercising the whole body. Therefore, developing a fitness equipment to better meet the users' requirement has become an important issue for the manufacturers.
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a horse riding fitness equipment comprises a base provided at the top thereof with two support rods for pivotally connecting with four linked plates, and each two linked plates are located correspondingly to each other and are hung downward in such a manner that the lower ends of four support rods extending downward from a seat frame are pivotally connected to the lower ends of the linked plates. Thereby, the seat frame is suspended from the support rods via the linked plates, and a cushion fixed on the seat frame can swing back and forth relative to the support rods.
  • Since the seat frame is swingingly suspended from the support rods, the seat frame can swing back and forth relative to the support rods. When the user sits on the cushion, the user can grip the saddle belts disposed at the front portion of the cushion, and when the user starts to straighten his/her back repeatedly, the cushion will swing back and forth relative to the support rods, such that the user will swing his upper half body in response to the swing motion of the cushion, and will keep straightening his/her back and pulling out his/her chest repeatedly to make the cushion swing back and forth continuously, thus achieving an overall exercising effect. Moreover, when operating the present horse riding fitness equipment, the user will feel like riding a horse, thereby, the present invention is interesting and innovative, so as to stimulate the user to continue exercising.
  • The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiments in accordance with the present invention.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a horse riding fitness equipment in accordance with the present invention;

  • FIG. 4 is an illustrative view of the horse riding fitness equipment in accordance with the present invention; and
  • FIG. 5 is a perspective view in accordance with the present invention of showing that the horse riding fitness equipment is folded.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • A horse riding fitness equipment in accordance with the present invention comprises: a base 1 provided at the top thereof with two support rods 2 for pivotally connecting with four linked plates 3 (as shown in FIG. 1), and each two linked plates 3 are located correspondingly to each other and are hung downward in such a manner that the lower ends of four support rods 41 extending downward from a seat frame 4 are pivotally connected to the lower ends of the linked plates 3. Further, a cushion 5 is fixed on the seat frame 4, thus the seat frame 4 is suspended from the support rods 2 via the linked plates 3 (as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the lower half portion of the cushion 5 is designed to have a covering effect), and the cushion 5 can swing back and forth relative to the support rods 2 by the suspending of the linked plates 3.
  • Since the seat frame 4 is swingingly suspended from the support rods 2 (as shown in FIG. 4), when the user sits on the cushion 5 and starts to straighten his/her back repeatedly, the cushion 5 will swing back and forth relative to the support rods 2, such that the user will swing his upper half body in response to the swing motion of the cushion 5, and will keep straightening his/her back and pulling out his/her chest repeatedly to make the cushion 5 swing back and forth continuously, thus achieving an overall exercising effect. Moreover, when operating the present horse riding fitness equipment, the user will feel like riding a horse, thereby, the present invention is interesting and innovative, so as to stimulate the user to continue exercising.
  • In addition, the front portion of the cushion 5 can be provided with saddle belts 51 to be gripped by the user, so the present invention is convenient and secure.
  • Further, the base 1 of the present invention is foldable (as shown in FIG. 5, one side of the base 1 is disposed with a pedal 11 and a buckling plate 12 that are moved along with each other to produce a rotating action, so as to fix the base on the other side, and since the structure of the base 1 belongs to the prior art, the base 1 will not be described in detail), so the present invention is easy to store.
  • While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims (16)

1. Horse riding fitness equipment comprising:
a base having a top;
a seat frame provided at the top of the base, the seat frame having a seat portion, a front lower end and a rear lower end, with the front lower end and the rear lower end extending downward from the seat portion;
a front link, with the front link pivotal relative to the base about a front upper axis, with the front link pivotal relative to the front lower end about a front lower axis, with the front upper axis being parallel to and spaced from the front lower axis, with the front upper axis being intermediate the seat portion and the front lower axis; and
a rear link, with the rear link pivotal relative to the base about a rear upper axis, with the rear link pivotal relative to the rear lower end about a rear lower axis, with the rear upper axis being parallel to and spaced from the rear lower axis, with the rear upper axis being intermediate the seat portion and the rear lower axis, with the front upper axis being parallel to and spaced from the rear upper axis with the front lower axis being parallel to and spaced from the rear lower axis.
2. The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 10, wherein a front portion of the cushion is provided with a saddle belt.

The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1, wherein the base further comprises a first section, a second section having an underside, a connecting bar, buckling plates and a pedal connected to the buckling plates, with the pedal and the buckling plates located on the first section, with the connecting bar located on the underside of the the second section, with the pedal having a first position and a second position, with the buckling plates releasably attached to the connecting bar when the pedal is in the first position, with the buckling plates detached from the connecting bar with the pedal in the second position, with the first and second sections of the base foldable when the pedal is in the second position.

The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 3, wherein the base further comprises a front support rod and a rear support rod disposed on the top of the second section of the base, with the front link pivotal relative to the front support rod about the front upper axis, with the rear link pivotal relative to the rear support rod about the rear upper axis, with the front support rod being spaced from and parallel from the rear support rod.

The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 4, with the front link comprising first and second linked plates, with the first and second linked plates each having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the first linked plate and the first end of the second linked plate are pivotal relative to the front support rod about the front upper axis, with the second end of the first linked plate and the second end of the second linked plate pivotal relative to the front lower end about the front lower axis, with the first linked plate being parallel to and spaced from the second linked plate.

The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 5, with the rear link comprising third and fourth linked plates, with the third and fourth linked plates each having a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion of the third linked plates and the first portion of the fourth linked plate are pivotal relative to the rear support rod about the rear upper axis, with the second portion of the first linked plate and the second portion of the fourth linked plate pivotal relative to the rear lower end about the rear lower axis, with the third linked plate being parallel to and spaced from the fourth linked plate.

The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 6, wherein the seat frame further comprises a first U-shaped section, a second U-shaped section and a connecting piece, with the first and second U-shaped sections each having an interconnecting portion, with the first and second U-shaped sections each having a front lower leg and a rear lower leg extending downward from the interconnecting portion, with the front lower leg including the front lower end and the rear lower leg including the rear lower end, with the first U-shaped section being parallel to and spaced from the second U-shaped section, with the connecting piece being intermediate and corresponding the first and second U-shaped sections, with the connecting piece, the interconnecting portion of the first U-shaped section and the interconnecting portion of the second U-shaped section defining the seat portion.
8. The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 7, wherein the front lower leg and the rear lower leg are at an oblique angle relative to the interconnecting portion.
9. The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1, wherein the seat frame further comprises a cushion disposed on the seat frame.
10. The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1, wherein the base further comprises a front support rod and a rear support rod disposed on the top of the base, with the front link pivotal relative to the front support rod about the front upper axis, with the rear link pivotal relative to the rear support rod about the rear upper axis.

The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 10, with the front link comprising first and second linked plates, with the first and second linked plates each having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the first linked plate and the first end of the second linked plate are pivotal relative to the front support rod about the front upper axis, with the second end of the first linked plate and the second end of the second linked plate pivotal relative to the front lower end about the front lower axis, with the first linked plate being parallel to and spaced from the second linked plate.

The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 11, with the rear link comprising third and fourth linked plates, with the third and fourth linked plates each having a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion of the third linked plates and the first portion of the fourth linked plate are pivotal relative to the rear support rod about the rear upper axis, with the second portion of the first linked plate and the second portion of the fourth linked plate pivotal relative to the rear lower end about the rear lower axis, with the third linked plate being parallel to and spaced from the fourth linked plate.

The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 12, wherein the seat frame further comprises a first U-shaped section, a second U-shaped section and a connecting piece, with the first and second U-shaped sections each having an interconnecting portion, with the first and second U-shaped sections each having a front lower leg and a rear lower leg extending downward from the interconnecting portion, with, the front lower leg including the front lower end and the rear lower leg including the rear lower end, with the first U-shaped section being parallel to and spaced from the second U-shaped section, with the connecting piece being intermediate and corresponding the first and second U-shaped sections, with the connecting piece, the interconnecting portion of the first U-shaped section and the interconnecting portion of the second U-shaped section defining the seat portion.
14. The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 13, wherein the front lower leg and the rear lower leg are at an oblique angle relative to the interconnecting portion.
15. The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1, wherein the seat frame further comprises a first U-shaped section, a second U-shaped section and a connecting piece, with the first and second U-shaped sections each having an interconnecting portion, with the first and second U-shaped sections each having a front lower leg and a rear lower leg extending downward from the interconnecting portion, with the front lower leg including the front lower end and the rear lower leg including the rear lower end, with the first U-shaped section being parallel to and spaced from the second U-shaped section, with the connecting piece being intermediate and corresponding the first and second U-shaped sections, with the connecting piece, the interconnecting portion of the first U-shaped section and the interconnecting portion of the second U-shaped section defining the seat portion.
16. The horse riding fitness equipment as claimed in claim 15, wherein the front lower leg and the rear lower leg are at an oblique angle relative to the interconnecting portion.
